A study of howcomputerized systems record, summarize, and reportaccounting information, with an emphasis on the internal controls needed for accurate and reliableaccounting information. It includes the development of an accounting information system and the steps taken by internal and external auditors to assess the system. This course is an elective. (Offered Spring only).
