Serves as an introduction to doctoral level research and the chapter writing process and procedures of the dissertation. Orients candidates to the doctoral dissertation phase of the program via interaction with professors who have taught in the program, as well as those serving as their dissertation chair and other committee members. Defines the expectations for academic research, practice-oriented doctoral level skills, and an explanation of the five chapters of the dissertation.
