This course prioritizes the development of strategies for creating effective classroom organization and managing student behavior. The goal is to go beyond maintaining order by actively promoting student intellectual, personal, and moral growth. These strategies involve designing inclusive organizational structures that cater to diverse learning needs and implementing behavioral management techniques that contribute to positive and respectful classroom environments. The aim is to foster academic excellence while shaping well-rounded, socially responsible, and morally conscious teacher leaders. This is one of three required courses for the MAT Mississippi Alternate Route Three-Year Teacher License.
