This course explores the unique characteristics and developmental patterns of children who exhibit different and unusual behaviors and have special needs. Emphasizing assessment practices and teaching techniques will help equip teacher candidates with practical strategies applicable to students with diverse and special needs. Candidates will delve into understanding and addressing the challenges associated with different patterns, fostering an inclusive and effective learning environment. This is one of three required courses for the MAT Mississippi Alternate Route Three-Year Teacher License.
