An introduction to the basic principles of acting. Through monologues, scene study, and improvisations, students will gain a working knowledge of the actor’s tools (body, voice, imagination) as well as the terminology associated with Stanislavski’s action-based approach to acting. (Non-major/minor must petition to register for this course.)
