24 hours in dance courses, including:

18 hours technical studies:

options include Ballet Foundations, Ballet Technique*, Pointe Technique*, Modern Foundations, Modern Dance Technique*, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Conditioning for Dancers, Pilates Mat, Pilates Reformer, Yoga, Performance Practicum, Performance, or Improvisation II. *Please note that level placement classes are required for Ballet, Modern, and Pointe courses. 

4 hours Dance Theory:

Note:

*A technique class is recommended each semester.

*DAN 105   Dance Department Seminar is required each semester a Dance Minor is enrolled in dance courses.
