Accounting, Certificate

Prerequisites to the Accounting Certificate consist of: ACC 215 and ACC 216 with a grade of C or better. 

Students who have earned a BBA or BSBA from Belhaven University will already have taken all of the prerequisites. Students who have earned a BBA or equivalent from another accredited college or university will need to consult with an advisor in the School of Business to determine if they lack any prerequisites. Students can transfer up to nine hours in accounting courses with permission of the chair of Accounting Department.

Students who have already taken one of the required accounting classes will be required to select a substitute from an upper division business or accounting elective course.
