Data Science, MSDS

The Master of Science in Data Science prepares students to extract meaningful insights from complex data and apply them to real-world decision-making. The program integrates statistical analysis, machine learning, data visualization, and ethical data practices to equip graduates for advanced roles in business, healthcare, government, and technology sectors. Emphasizing both technical proficiency and critical thinking, the curriculum reflects the values of a Christian liberal arts education by promoting integrity, responsible data stewardship, and the ethical use of data to serve the common good.

Graduation Requirements:

• Student must earn a program GPA of 3.0 or greater with no more than two C-, C, or C+ grades.
• All credit applied toward the MSDS degree must have been completed within six years of matriculation at Belhaven.
• No transfer credit is accepted for the MSDS program.
