This course is designed as an integrative approach to the biopsychosocial factors, legal/ethical, cultural, and educational considerations of care for reproductive health. The preconceptual, antepartal, intrapartal, postpartal, and neonatal periods are explored. Clinical practice in providing nursing care to clients during each phase of the reproductive and childbearing cycles of life occurs in a variety of acute, ambulatory, and community health care settings. The nursing process is used with emphasis on the theoretical and empirical basis of practice. Audits Not Allowed
